U.S.A placed Jamaica on a "watch list". They wanted to impose a sanction toward Jamaica due to their negligence to preform trade laws protecting industrial designs, failure to enact, and plant variety.

Certain amounts of money are going to regions in hopes to boost the competitiveness between countries involved, and the export capacity of the capacity of the private sector. A perk for having free trade between the countries is that creates, like stated before, a competiviness between the countries, creates an improvement in the pay for the jobs, and even generates new markets.
